Our practice is a blend of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga practice. Your yoga practice will start with traditional Surya Namaskar. Surya Namaskar (Sun Solutation) is dynamic yogic exercise which helps your body to warm up and bring mobility in the body joints which prepares you to get ready for yoga asanas.
Then we start with traditional yoga asanas. Asanas will be specifically chosen for your body needs, your goals and/or your physical condition. After asanas, you will be guided through pranayama (breathing technique). Pranayama will help you relax, remove stress and calm your mind.After pranayama your mind will be prepared for Dharna (concertation) leading to Dhyana (meditation).
Meditation is one of the important aspect in traditional practice. Finishing every practice with meditation can help you with anxiety in our modern world, can help you stay calm in stressful situation, relax your body and many more other physical and mental benefits that you will experience.
