Traditional Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Principles
The word “Hatha” is derived from the Sanskrit term “ha” meaning “sun” and “tha” meaning moon. This refers to masculine energy which is active, hot - sun and feminine energy is receptive, cool – moon with is us.
